Californication
Radio Show Host: What's your latest obsession?
Hank Moody: Just the fact that people seem to be getting dumber and dumber. You know, I mean we have all this amazing technology and yet computers have turned into basically four figure wank machines. The internet was supposed to set us free, democratize us, but all it's really given us is Howard Dean's aborted candidacy and 24 hour a day access to kiddie porn. People... they don't write anymore, they blog. Instead of talking, they text, no punctuation, no grammar: LOL this and LMFAO that. You know, it just seems to me it's just a bunch of stupid people pseudo-communicating with a bunch of other stupid people at a proto-language that resembles more what cavemen used to speak than the King's English.
Radio Show Host: Yet you're part of the problem, I mean you're out there blogging with the best of them.
Hank Moody: Hence my self-loathing.

Becca Moody: I'm not going to live with my dad because it's fun. I'm going because I have to. I don't know if you've noticed, but your dad is about to marry my mom.
Mia Lewis: Yeah, so?
Becca Moody: So it's really happening. He can't pretend anymore that it's not. And whatever miraculous thing he thought was going to happen with the writing. You know that thing he wrote back home in New York was going to be the redemption of his soul. Obviously, that's not happening either.
Mia Lewis: No, I guess not.
Becca Moody: So it's official. Rock bottom. The death of hope. Can't leave him alone now. The man's got nothing.
--------------------
Hank Moody : You´re quiet.
Becca Moody: I like quiet.
Hank Moody: Yeah....me too, as long as you´re fine.
Becca Moody: My heart hurts.
Hank Moody: Oh...God, baby, mine too. It´s a boy trouble?
Becca Moody: Mhmhm
Hank Moody: Me too.Well...girl trouble. You wanna talk about it?
Becca Moody:No. I just wanna know when it stops hurting.
Hank Moody: Well, here´s a deal. You not gonna want to hear it and it´s gonna sound like piss poor parenting...but if you´re lucky ...never!

Hank Moody monolouge: ( season 1, episode 3 )
Good morning Hell-A
In a land of loader seaters, time plays tricks on you. One day you´re dreaming, the next day your dream has become reality. It was the best of times. If only someone had told me. Mistakes were made. Hearst were broken. Harsh lessons learned. My family goes on without me while I drown in a sea of pointless pussy. I don´t know how i got here. But here I am. Rotting away in a warm California sun. There are things I need to figure out. For her sake at least. The clock is ticking. The gap is widening. She won´t always love me for no matter what.
